Graduate Students 

I am currently looking to recruit one graduate student for the Fall of 2027.  I'm looking for students interested in using computational methods to better understand in large-scale disease dynamics or large-scale patterns of biodiversity.  Experience with R or Python and a passion for data science is absolutely essential.  Experience with with GIS  or building phylogenies from sequence data will certainly help, but is not absolutely essential.  I don't have any RA lines available currently, so I am only recruiting students willing to work their way through on a Teaching Assistantship.  If you have a passion for applying data science to solving real world problems in health science or conservation, you would be a good fit for my lab.  If you are interested, send a brief statement about what topics you are interested in and a CV to me at patrick.stephens <@> okstate.edu.
